Clouds filling up the sky.  Sand sifting through your toes.  Tiny little waves crashing on the shore.  This was the setting for Susie and Kellen’s  Part I of their wedding on the beaches of Grand Haven.  Their wedding was filled with only the closest friends and family members as they witnessed Susie and Kellen exchange nuptials.  It was simple, smalled, and filled with so much love.  Kellen’s two little girls were also participants with the ceremony, including the sand pouring as a gesture of uniting the four of them as a family.  I loved that Susie was delivered to the ceremony site in her soon-to-be Father-in-law’s pink Cadillac and that her colors were teal and orange for a beach wedding.  It’s a great reminder of how fun and vibrant summer can be and how Susie and Kellen are.  Kellen was so calm, collected and so absolutely sweet as he waited for his bride to arrive.  There was no doubt you can see the love in their eyes and what their really meant for them.

Part II of their wedding weekend extravaganza took place the following evening at the Knights of Columbus.  Their reception stayed true to the fun beach theme from the day before.  There was hula hooping, an ice cream sundae bar, lots of dancing, alot more friends and family, and tons of love and laughter.  It was a great night for 2 nights of wedding fun.

Congratulations Susie and Kellen!!  Your wedding was fun and beautiful and I’m so honored to have been a part of such a fantastic weekend with you guys!
