Turtle, Turtle.

About 3 weeks before my race, I was riding my bike. And during the course of my bike ride, I am inches away from running over this baby turtle. I turned my bike around to make sure he’s still alive because he was all tucked underneath his shell. Instead of putting him back in the river he came out of, I shoved him in my jacket pocket like an 8 year boy and proceeded to ride back to my car. I kept him for about a month as means to keep him as my mascot for the triathlon. I named him Kamikaze because he was quick, slick, and crazy like a little ninja. He has currently been released back into the wild.
